Former Alumna launches Adiona Smartband

Mille Stedman (née MacLeod) offers our Harrodian Community a 15% discount code

Milly MacLeod arrived at Harrodian in 2003 to join the second ever intake of Sixth Formers. While at the school, she thoroughly enjoyed the creativity and individual approach to each pupil which was so different from her previous school experience. Like many alumni, she remembers her time here with immense fondness, especially her time painting sets for the fabulous plays, the exciting trips that she was able to go on and the beautiful buildings themselves.

Recently, Milly had a terrifying experience where her children wandered out of sight momentarily in busy Christmas market; the pure panic was one she hadn't yet felt previously. When she, and her husband Alex, looked for a tool that could help them if this were to ever happen again, they were surprised that nothing was available. In true Harrodian style, she then set out designing and developing just the thing to put parents' minds at ease. Thus the Adiona SmartBand was born, allowing children to hold on their wrists all the necessary information needed to reunite them with their parents.

From 1st July until 15th July, Adiona are offering Harrodian parents 15% off the RRP of their exclusive child safety wristbands. These allow the necessary information to be stored electronically in the band in case the child were to go missing, and can be accessed by anyone with an NFC enabled smartphone (like using Google or Apple Pay). Perfect for summer holidays and days out!
